The troubling part of it is that my work, at the internet marketing company Portent, just enables my habit.

 

I’m a Senior Strategist there for clients who find us through the Google Analytics Certified Partner program.

 

My boss, Ian Lurie, and my colleagues at Portent write loads of knowledgable content on SEM, SEO and social over at the Portent Blog.

 

All this serves to deepen my obsession with data and discovering actionable business intelligence gems hidden in the rubble of numbers.
