Insightful analytics reviews from Michael Wiegand & friends.

  • Kim says:

Without the organic data, what’s Google got that Statcounter doesn’t? Because I’m thinking, why give Google all that crunchy data about my traffic and my clients’ traffic if Google isn’t returning the favor? I can be out waving signs at #OccupyMountainView in 20 minutes flat, so beware, Google! (Pretty sure Google actually doesn’t care what I think, though.)

That’s a good point, Kim. Google’s argument is that it’ll only affect 5% of your traffic, at most. Problem is, if I’m talking about a client site that get millions of visits/month, 5% of my organic query data is still a big deal.

Loving the rank, but sadly it think for time being it’s here to stay unless that is some of Google Big Spender threaten to reduce their Ad Spend for example Tesco in the UK is one of the few companys that can do anything.

TBH though if (No Provided) was removed in the Analytics Premium it woundnt both me, but it seems like a their shooting them selves in the foots, who will upgrade to premium unless they have full data?
